SweetiesSweeps Exposed — Win What You Can’t Afford

SweetiesSweeps Review

If you’re into finding sweeps to play, SweetiesSweeps.com certainly has an incredible selection of prizes though this is simply a posting site and you’re not playing for their prizes. With a tag line of “Win What You Can’t Afford” it certainly catches the imagination.

What Is Sweeties Sweeps?

I thought I’d found a real winner for once. SweetiesSweeps.com has a list of prizes that looks like it has it all. Then I started clicking around and kept hitting sweeps that had already closed. Next, was figuring out that most of them are only for people in the United States. Okay, there are a few that are open to other countries, but they are far and few between. Then there was the annoying pop up window that wants me to download something.

Who Can Participate?

This can get darn right frustrating. Each of the different sweeps available has different rules and regulations. This can include residency and age. Most of them seem targeted at North Americans, though there are some for Aussies and others. Some of them actually target specifically men or women. It’s time consuming clicking on each site to see if I could enter. Oh, there is a link for Canadians where there is a list of links where they can play, plus a bunch of other links for different giveaways.

What Are the Prizes Offered by Sweeties Sweeps?

I will say there are chances to win all kinds of prizes including beauty & fashion, books, cars and accessories, cash, computers & technology, electronics, food & household, gift cards, kids & toys, pets, sports & entertainment, and trips and travel. SweetiesSweeps.com has quite a range. The only problem is a bunch of them had already ended. So why are they still listed on the site?

Who Owns SweetiesSweeps.com?

Wendy, who appears to be the owner says she brings years of expertise and offers this in her free book “Sweeping 101” which will help you win and give advice on being protected from scams. The only contact detail is a gmail account which started me wondering. You can contact “Wendy” if you have a giveaway you want to add.

What Are the Terms & Conditions?

The important thing at SweetiesSweeps.com is to make sure you check out the specific terms and conditions for each prize you’re going after. They are all different including who can enter, what you have to do to enter and when the prize draw will take place. In some cases, you have to enter by using an Instagram, Twitter or Facebook account.

How to Collect a Prize?

Prizes all come from the specific sponsors. SweetiesSweeps.com simply facilitates the list of links of different sweeps you can enter. All prizes listed on this site must have a minimum value of US$25.

Sweeties Sweeps Feedback and Complaints

There doesn’t seem to be any complaints and minimum feedback, though I’m not sure whether to read that as people are happy with the site or there is not a lot of people that use this site. I definitely am complaining about the pop up window that opens and wants me to download something each time I click on another prize site.

Is SweetiesSweeps Scam or Legit?

Hey folks, this is simply a link site for pulling together a heap of the sweepstakes. I found it incredibly noisy and wasted a lot of time trying to find a prize opportunity I could play.

Bottom Line at Sweeties Sweeps

The busyness of the site does get wearing and frankly, the fact that I have to click on each individual site to get to the details on whether I can play or not is frustrating. Many of them are collecting information and/or getting you to view something. Add to that, the annoying window that pops up asking me to download a file each time I check another prize opportunity – forget it!

Pros:

Lots and Lots and Lots and Lots of Links to Prizes

Free Sweeping 101 Tutorial Book

Cons:

Mostly Only for US Residents

Many Prize Opportunities Already Closed

Having to Go Into Each Prize Opportunity to Get the Details

If you are in the United States and have time to go through all the links to enter a prize, then this might get a thumb’s up by you. I give it a thumb’s down.

FreeNationalLotto Exposed — Free to Play Daily Lottery

I’m scratching my head trying to decide whether I should jump into FreeNationalLotto.com. This is a cute little free – yes folks free – daily lottery. Oh, and they have a bi-weekly lottery also. What’s holding me back is usually these kinds of free lotteries mean you’re going to get spammed by promotions and advertising. I made the mistake once of getting into one of these and I’m still dealing daily cleanups in my inbox.

Games at Free National Lotto

There are two games at FreeNationalLotto.com. The daily one is drawn at noon each day (GMT) and involves selecting 5 numbers from 1 to 40. The draw is based only on the sets of numbers actually chosen so yes, there is a guaranteed winner. We’re not talking big money here as the draw starts at £5 and rolls up £5 each day it is not claimed. Players have to visit the site daily to see if they’ve won. The FNL 5 Ball Draw takes place Thursdays and Sundays at 20:00 (GMT), starts at £250 and rolls up £10 each time it isn’t won. The odds of winning are harder here as it’s based on any combination of the 1 to 40 numbers.

FreeNationalLotto.com and Winnings

Daily prizes have to be claimed within 24 hours or the draw rolls over. The highest it has gotten is £40. It looks like the bi-weekly prizes also have to be claimed within 24 hours. Payments of winnings are through PayPal. I’m guessing that’s one of their advertisers. There is a link on their site to register if you don’t have an account.

How Do They Do It?

FreeNationalLotto.com is funded by advertising and promotion companies. You agree to receive stuff when you register. This isn’t licensed gambling so they are not registered with any gambling commission. The weird thing is there is nothing on their website that is advertising. They do say they will send you a reminder each day to check your numbers so I guess maybe that’s where the advertising might come in.

Earning Bonus Balls

There are a couple of ways to earn bonus balls. Each day you visit the site, you get one bonus ball which equals 1p (GBP). If you refer someone to the site and they register, you get two bonus balls. You can also earn bonus balls participating in promotions they send you. You can’t do anything with this – at this point – except if you win a daily or bi-weekly draw, whatever has accrued will be added to your winnings.

Who Can Play at FreeNationalLotto.com?

Players have to be 18 years age or older and can only register once. They say anyone can play – it doesn’t matter where you reside.

Who Is Free National Lotto?

FreeNationalLotto.com is owned by Lotto Media Ltd., a company registered in England with a head office in Norwich. There is an online form, email address and a heap of social media links to contact them. There are no phone numbers or live chat.

The Bottom Line at FreeNationalLotto.com

Part of me wants to register and go for this and part of me is holding back. Nothing is free and Free National Lotto says upfront that they fund this by sending you advertising and promotions. Heck, you can earn bonus balls by participating in promotions they send you. The other thing I wonder about is having to go in and check whether I’ve won every day. I’d kick myself if I won and then hadn’t claimed my prize.

Pros:

Free Daily Lottery

Anyone 18 and Over Can Play

Guaranteed Winner Every Day

Cons:

Advertising and Promotion Spam

Limited Contact Details

I Forgot to Check My Numbers and Had Won

The site does get a thumb’s up for its honesty and being so straightforward. I think I’m going to take a shot and go for this one. I’m just wondering how much of this stuff I’m going to receive.

OnlineLottos Exposed — Are You Going to “Become Mega Rich”?

OnlineLottos Review

Looking at OnlineLottos.co.uk, I thought I’d found a great syndicate site. Their front page scrolls a whole bunch of different lotteries and it wasn’t until I started digging that I found out they only had two syndicates and they were both for EuroMillions. The jackpot on this does get pretty high, pays out face value and tax free, but that’s the only thing they offer. Plus, they are very clear that you don’t get to participate in the “guaranteed UK millionaire maker” raffle side of playing EuroMillions out of the UK. Now I definitely need to dig into the small print.

Games at OnlineLottos.co.uk

OnlineLottos.co.uk offers two syndicates both EuroMillions. The first has 150 tickets with 150 shares (well they call them members) per week. Note the “per week”. That means you only have a share in 75 tickets per draw. The second syndicate has 100 shares and sorry I have to pause. That’s a 100 ticket lines, but then they say 200 per month, and then they say 50 tickets played each week which translates to 25 tickets per draw. Sorry folks, but that’s a pretty bad ticket/share ratio. Oh – and then go into their “view syndicates” and the only one shown there is the first.

Online Lottos and Choosing your Lottery Numbers

You can play your own/favorite numbers or they will choose them for you. They also mention that they might change them from time to time. I didn’t like that part of the Terms & Conditions.

Getting your Winnings

OnlineLottos.co.uk says they will email you after each lottery draw to tell you what your syndicate has won. You can withdraw money from your account when it has more than £10. they will transfer this to your personal bank account within 2 days of a request, though I’m guessing that’s within the customer service hours available. There is no information on whether OnlineLottos.co.uk takes commission or fees.

The Small Print

This is one of those times it really is important to read the small print. If you opt to take a membership in one of OnlineLottos.co.uk’s syndicates, you don’t get to participate in any for a 14 day cancellation period. Add to this you can’t cancel your membership for three months and 14 days and you’ve got to give them 30 days’ notice. If you don’t give them proper notice, then your membership is automatically renewed. The other weird thing is your membership can only begin on the 1st, 2nd, 15th, 16th, 25th and 26th of each month.

Who Can Play?

This little lottery syndicate site is only available for UK residents who are 18 years or older. If you decide to play and you don’t meet this criterion, you won’t get a refund and you can’t win.

Talking to OnlineLottos.co.uk

Customer support is available Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm GMT. There is an email address and phone number. But there is no address which is hilarious as at the top of the contact page there is a map of London and the surrounding areas.

OnlineLottos.co.uk and the Bottom Line

I was sitting here trying to figure out what was bothering me about the ticket lines. It took a bit and then wham – it came to me. Each share gets to put in a ticket line, but not all ticket lines are used in each draw. They are split between the Tuesday and Saturday weekly draws. How would you feel if they used your ticket numbers on Tuesday and then they popped up on the following Saturday – and it wasn’t part of your syndicate!

Pros:

Easy to Choose – with Only 1 Syndicate available

Cons:

Lousy Ticket/Share Ratio

Limited Customer Service

Commission/Fees on Winnings?

My Winning Numbers Coming Up on the Wrong Day

OnlineLottos.co.uk definitely gets a thumb’s down. If I’m putting my favorite lottery ticket numbers into a syndicate, I want them in for every draw!

Lotto500 Exposed — 500 Reasons Not to Play Lotteries

Lotto500 Review

Would you take an online lottery provider serious if you saw {websiteName} throughout their terms and conditions? I wanted to ask Lotto500.com about this and other questions that came up but with only an online form to complete, it was a little difficult. I’m still waiting for answers. This is with an advertisement of 24/7 customer care. I almost stopped right there, but decided I’d see just how weird these guys are.

The Games at Lotto500.com

Lotto500 offers players 12 lotteries to play online, including the usual mega lotteries of US Powerball and EuroMillions plus Brazil’s Mega-Sena, Florida Lotto and two of the Australian lotteries. Players can choose to play one ticket line for one draw or more. There is a choice to opt for a subscription from 1, 2, 4, 8 and 52 weeks. To opt out, you simply notify by 23:59 the day before it runs out. The only problem is I’m not sure how to notify them – more on that shortly. There are no refunds. They do say they purchase lottery tickets locally, but also use the word bet and refer to potentially an insurer in the terms and conditions.

Lotto500’s Syndicates

Looking at the share ratio to tickets for Lotto500’s syndicates, you probably will go elsewhere. Their US Combi 82 for US Mega Millions and Powerball has 41 lines splitting any winnings between 93 shares. The lottery lines are based on one set of ticket numbers and all the different combinations of bonuses. The US Lottos Combo for Mega Millions and Powerball is a little better at 100 ticket lines with 135 shares. That one also has a combination of different ticket lines. The VIP 500 combo for EuroMillions, EuroJackpot and the two big US lotteries has 80 lines for 500 shares and uses different ticket lines. Hang on – the ratio is actually worse as the tickets are split over the amount of draws that week, so for the US Combi 82, you actually only have 15 tickets for Mega Millions and 26 ticket lines for each draw that week.

Lotto500.com and Winning

To withdraw your winnings you send a withdrawal request that can take 2 to 5 business days to process. Add to that they say that it could take 10 to 15 business days to get to you. Okay, then it got darn right funny. In their terms and conditions Lotto500 says “For any financial inquiries please e-mail: support@{websiteName}”. Well, that’s not going to work. There is also a minimum amount of €50 for any withdrawal. Oh, and again in the terms and conditions winnings are paid “fewer costs associated with claiming the winnings”. I think they mean they take the costs of claiming your winnings off the top before you get them.

Getting in Touch with Lotto500

The customer service is only available through a snail mail address and an online form. Lotto500 is owned by BCM Statistics Ltd. with a London, United Kingdom address. It looks like a mail drop as there is a heap of companies that use that address.

Lotto500.com and the Bottom Line

With their terms and conditions scatter with {websiteName} and support@{websiteName} I’m definitely not going to play here. Add to that there are no phone numbers and they don’t seem to answer questions through their online form, I’m definitely not going to share my personal details and credit card information.

Pros:

12 International Lotteries

Cons:

What are the Costs of Claiming my Winnings?

Lousy Syndicate Ratio

Definitely not 24/7 Customer Support

Lotto500 definitely gets a thumb’s down, especially when it comes to syndicates never mind their limited communication methods. Okay, there weren’t 500 reasons not to play lotteries here, but there was enough to go elsewhere!

SmartBillions Exposed — Where Can I Spend My Winnings?

SmartBillions Review

If you understand blockchain lotteries, then SmartBillions.com might interest you. Blockchain refers to a digitized, decentralized public ledger of cryptocurrency transactions (thanks Investopedia). SmartBillions claims to be the first global lottery that is fully decentralized. It is managed by Ethereum’s “Smart Contract”. From Ethereum’s site “This enables developers to create markets, store registries of debts or promises, move funds in accordance with instructions given long in the past (like a will or a futures contract) and many other things that have not been invented yet, all without a middle man or counterparty risk.” It’s not a real currency like US dollars of Euros. But it does look like you have to pay some real currency to get your ticket lines.

The Game at SmartBillions.com

Players start by creating a MetaMask Wallet with a password and reminder phrase. Next, you’ve got to put some money in the wallet to be able to play. There is no information about any minimum amount or the type of currency they will take. The game involves picking six numbers from between 0 and 15 in a specific order. Hit all six numbers in the correct order and you win somewhere between 7,000 and 7 million ETH (Etherum). ETH is their coin currency. The amount you win depends on how much you put in between .001 and 1 ETH. There are 5 prize tiers down to matching 2 numbers in a row. What’s really strange is there is no actual information on how regularly the games are played. Sitting online watching the draw history, it looks like it’s ongoing (3 draws popped up in the course of one minute). I’m not sure how this works with purchasing ticket lines.

SmartBillions and Winning

Winnings are automatically transferred to your account in your MetaMask Wallet. I’m not sure what you can do with them except play more games – maybe. There is no actual information. There are no terms and conditions, and click on the FAQ and nothing happens. I get these guys are new so maybe they aren’t sure what people will be asking. They say that 90% of the money that goes into ticket line sales goes to the jackpot. There is no information on whether this rolls up or the jackpot stays fixed. The other hilarious thing is that under their “Draw History” it shows the amount of bets – and there hasn’t been any for several draws. I guess as it’s not a currency, it’s not taxable.

Who Is SmartBillions?

Don’t look to go and ask questions to SmartBillions.com. There is no snail mail address, no phone numbers and no email addresses on their website. It took some serious digging to finally get an email address and they still haven’t answered. SmartBillions launched themselves by funding with an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) of 252 million tokens. Each token is worth ETH 0.001, the equivalent of US$ 0.30 at that time. I say at that time as now that the ICO has been launched the actual value can shift depending on – well, that’s what I am trying to get my head around. It looks like it depends on what people are willing to pay for it. This is not a real currency, but a token that needs to be converted somehow.

SmartBillions’ Hackathon

One of the things SmartBillions did to check the security of their system is run a “hackathon”. Yes, they were hacked and one lucky winner took away 400 ETH or US$ 120,000. There is no information whether they got cash or simply got tokens.

The Bottom Line at SmartBillions.com

The simple fact I can’t contact these folks, there is no information on who they are or where they are is enough to give me pause. Add to that, I can’t see how I can convert my tokens to hard cash. Looking once more at their site, I wonder if this has to do with a comment at the top of their site “Your Bet (Beta Version)”. From my experience, beta usually means this is a trial.

Pros:

Independent/No Tax Applied to Winning

Straightforward Game

Winnings Straight into Your Account

Cons:

No Information on When Games are Played

No Information on How to Change ETH to Spendable Cash

No Information on Who These Folks are and No Way to Contact Them

SmartBillions.com gets a thumb’s down. I’m going to stick to the usual US Powerball or EuroMillions where I know what I’m going to win and I can imagine how I’m going to spend it.

Lotto1010 Exposed — Make Sure You Read the Small Print!

Lotto1010 Review

Looking at Lotto1010.com was a bit of a struggle as it’s all in Danish. This online lottery provider offers the four largest lotteries plus three syndicate options. With a motto of “selection as well as quality” they claim to offer the most popular lotteries and other smaller ones. I don’t see it, but maybe it’s a language thing. Let’s take a look.

The Games at Lotto1010.com

Please note that currently players cannot play actually play individual lotteries at this time. Not sure what the story is.

Lotto1010 definitely has the four largest lotteries US Powerball & Mega Millions, EuroMillions and EuroJackpot. But, now I’m scratching my head. Click on any of the games and four different days of the week comes up. Digging into the terms and conditions (they are in English), they say “US Powerball usually played Thursday and Sunday”. Hang on, it’s actually played Wednesday and Saturday. Okay – if you are targeting players in the European Market, the draw does actually take place those days, but why list all the days! Funny, in their T&C, lotto1010.com describes the rules and regulations for a bunch of other European lottery games. I guess they are planning to expand their stable of lotteries.

Lotto1010 and Syndicates

There are currently three syndicates available. The US Combi (US Powerball & Mega Millions) 82 has 41 ticket lines for 82 shares. The VIP 500 syndicate has 80 ticket lines with 500 shares. The VIP 90 has 120 ticket lines with 90 shares. But – yes the big but, the actual ticket lines are split between the different lotteries. Take the VIP 500 syndicate for all four lotteries offered. That means there are only 20 ticket lines for 500 shares per draw. That’s definitely not a ratio I’m looking for!

Getting Your Winnings

Players can either deposit money to play into their account or can pay as you go. Lotto1010.com says that if you deposit less than €10, there can be additional fees. Reading in the FAQ, players cannot withdraw a sum less than €50. But jumping into the terms and conditions, Lotto1010.com says that players can only withdraw “higher amounts than 100 units of the relevant reference”. What gives? There is also no information on whether they take commission, though they do mention that fees and other costs will be deducted prior to you receiving your winnings.

Who Can Play at Lotto1010.com?

Besides the usual, you have to use your own name to register, players have to be either older than 18 or old enough to play legally in the country they reside. People cannot play from Afghanistan, China, Cuba, Hong Kong, Iran, Israel, Myanmar, North Korea, Singapore, Turkey and the United States. Oh, and there is the weird blurb about people who are prohibited by the “Office for Foreign Assets Control of the US Department for the Treasury”.

Who Are They?

Lotto1010.com is operated by FUPMB LTD based in Cyprus and licensed by Curaçao. It has a snail mail address, email address, phone number that has an off service recording and online chat that seems to be active outside of business hours (whenever that might be). Chatting with their online service did get me wondering. The person kept pushing VIP 500 and subscriptions, plus wouldn’t discuss their straight ticket purchase versus syndicates.

The Bottom Line at Lotto1010.com

The different conflicting information on this site really started to make me wonder what the story is. Talking to their online chat person pushing subscriptions and their VIP 500 syndicate didn’t build my confidence. And given the ratio of ticket lines to shares for their VIP 500 syndicate, I wouldn’t touch it. Even weirder is the fact their site is all in Danish except their Terms and Conditions and there they say they will have the T&C in multiple languages but the English version rules.

Pros:

Four of the Largest Jackpot Lotteries

Site for People Who Speak Danish

Cons:

Conflicting Information on Getting Your Winnings

No Info on Fees for Getting your Winnings

Bad Ratio of Tickets/Shares in their Syndicates

Lotto1010.com gets a thumb’s down. The fact that they have an online chat is cool, but it would be great if the person knew what they were talking about.

Postcode Bingo Exposed — What Can You Win Here?

Postcode Bingo Review

Our team reviewed Postcode Lottery, now it’s a right time to review Postcode Bingo. I remember as a kid going to play bingo at the local community center. Clicking on Postcode Bingo puts a big smile on my face as there I was a kid again. PostcodeBingo.co.uk offers a bunch of different ways to play bingo plus instant scratch cards and other games. And then I remembered that this isn’t simply buying a few bingo cards to play so I’d better take a look at the rules and regulations of this online games site.

The Games at PostcodeBingo.co.uk

Let’s start with their straightforward bingo games of 75 Ball Bingo, 90 Ball Bingo and High 5 Bingo. These have a flat jackpot based on getting 1, 2 or 3 lines and a full house. They are played every 3 to 5 minutes, depending on how quickly someone wins. Players can choose to “daub” on their numbers or auto-play (which does it for you). Their system does it anyway, just in case you lose your connection. The game pauses when someone one gets bingo and then restarts until the set number of balls is drawn. Players can choose 1 to 96 cards to play. There must be a minimum of three players for the game to be played.

Progressive Bingo

There are other games to play where the jackpot continues to grow until won. Diamonds Are Forever (75 ball bingo) is played 7 days a week, every 30 minutes (2 hours a day) with a jackpot starting at $/€/£500. I don’t get the multiple currency here, though digging through the terms, it looks like you win the currency that you’ve paid into your account. House Party is their 90 ball bingo progressive game with a jackpot starting at $/€/£100 played 24/7. Swedish Jackpot is the High 5 Bingo progressive game. Winning takes getting a full house within a certain amount of numbers called.

Postcode Bingo’s Other Games

Add to this the Coverall Jackpot played every 30 minutes at certain times every day. This bingo game has the potential of getting up to some bigger jackpots. Then there are their Featured Games which are a heap of slots games and scratchies.

What Bonuses Postcode Bingo Offers?

Players get a 200% bonus on their first deposit. The minimum is £10. There also seems to be some re-deposit bonuses of 100%. But keep in mind, if you win playing with bonus money, that amount you get in real cash and can take home is less the bonus money played (which is re-deposited into your bonus money account). It took me a bit to get my head around that one. If you play £10 from your bonus money and win £500, then £490 goes into your real money account and £10 goes back into your bonus money available for play. “Invite a Friend” and you can get £10 bingo bonus money up to 15 people per month. Your friend must deposit a minimum of £10 and play within 14 days. Loyalty Points Scheme accumulates on each bingo card purchase with real money (versus using bonus money). 1000 loyalty points converts to £1 bonus money.

Getting your Winnings

Jackpots are paid out over 24 months with the first installment of 20% and the remainder divided by 23. You can only withdraw money through whatever you used to deposit to your account.

Who Can Play at Postcode Bingo?

I started getting really excited about playing here. PostcodeBingo.co.uk looks like fun and then I read the small print. This is only for UK residents and if you’re located in Antigua, Belgium, Denmark, France, Gibraltar, Israel, Italy, Spain, Turkey or the United States this is a non-starter. Oh, and you have 72 hours to verify you are 18 years or older or your account will be frozen.

Let’s Talk

Their helpline through your account is open 24/7. Email responses can take up to 72 hours. There is also a toll free number for in the UK available 9:00 am to 1:00 am GMT daily. Postcodebingo.co.uk is owned by Cassava Enterprises (Gibraltar) Limited licensed out of Gibraltar. They are owned by 888 Holdings PLC, listed on the London Stock Exchange. What is weird is PostcodeBingo.co.uk isn’t listed on their brand’s site. There is a snail mail address in Gibraltar.

The Bottom Line at PostcodeBingo.co.uk

This isn’t going to involve winning one of the mega lotteries and the fact that jackpots are paid over a 24 month period is a little weird. At the same time, it looks like it could be fun.

Pros:

24/7 Helpline

Bonus Money

Cons:

Only For UK Residents

Jackpots Paid Over 24 Months

Games Cancelled for Lack of Players

This site gets a tentative thumb’s up. If you’re playing here, please give me your feedback. I’m not sure how they manage all the different times for games and what happens if there are less than 3 players.

Sun7Lottery Review

I’m still seesawing between betting on official lotteries and getting real tickets. I found a site that gave me both. Sun7Lottery.com offers 17 lottery games for betting and getting real tickets. Well, that’s what I thought. Then I started to dig deeper and ended up with more questions. Let me explain.

Games at Sun7Lottery

Sun7Lottery.com offers players 17 lottery games online. These include the usual US Powerball & Mega Millions, EuroJackpot and UK Lotto. I’m not sure why, but they also offer Euro Millions Belgium, Ireland and UK not to be confused with EuroMillions Australia which is a totally different game. What else is different is they offer players three ways to play – the official lottery game, insured and betting. It looks like playing the official game means the usual prize tier except there is nowhere on their site that explains this. There are no terms and conditions that set out what you win. The same goes for the “insure” option, though the jackpot noted, is significantly less than the jackpot for the official. At the same time, the cost of the ticket is less. Weirdest, the “betting” option is shown as no cost though still with a jackpot listed and they refer to it as a multiplier game.

Terms & Conditions

Sun7Lottery.com doesn’t seem to have anywhere that they actually explain the prize tiers for any of the three options on all their lottery games. There are no terms and conditions. Click on help and you’re taken to a “knowledge base” at gamblingtec.com which sure doesn’t know a lot. The only way it seems to be able to get more information is to register – and you’re not registering with Sun7Lottery.com but with gamblingtec.com.

Sun7Lottery.com and Winning

Bouncing around links, we finally found under gamblingtec.com the fact that lottery tickets are paid out 99% to the player and 1% to SSNV (aka Sun7Lottery.com). Prizes can be collected by either party less any taxes and costs. Okay, in their gambling terms and conditions there is another clarification that lottery tickets are paid out when they have received the money from their insurance agents. I’m not sure if this means they actually buy lottery tickets or not for the official draws. I’m also getting a little annoyed at how hard it is to find information.

Real Tickets or Not

Reading through Sun7Lottery.com’s explanation on lottery ticket scans simply got me more confused. They talk about automatic “digitised scans” available for some of their lotteries, but say these are not physical tickets. They do say that they do purchase real tickets for some of their games, but this was buried in gamblingtec.com’s terms. It is clear that for some of their games they use a “risk company” which usually means tickets are not actually purchased. So, some of their lottery games are betting/gambling on the results versus actually buying tickets.

Speaking of Gambling

That is the other thing that is offered through Sun7Lottery.com and their alternative ego gamblingtec.com – casino games including slots, roulette and blackjack. Players are offered the choice to either “real play” or “fun play” though in either case you have to register first.

Sun7Lottery and Who Can Play

There doesn’t seem to be any information on any limitations on who can play here. The only reference was a comment about the fact internet gambling may be illegal where you live so they can only accept ‘alternative currencies’ like BitCoin.

Who is Gamblingtec.com versus Sun7Lottery.com

Sun7Lottery.com is owned by Sunseven NV out of Curaçao. It seems they use gamblingtec.com software for players to play lotteries. There is an email address and a bunch of social media links, but no snail mail address or phone numbers. It makes it very frustrating when the questions keep adding up.

The Bottom Line at Sun7Lottery.com

I’m still getting my head around the frustration of trying to find out more about how SSNV operates and what I will actually win. It’s not clear whether they actually buy lottery tickets in their “official lottery games” or simply use the results and insure against a player winning one of those mega jackpots. I did ask the question to them but still haven’t received an answer.

Pros:

Real Lottery Tickets and Betting Options

Large Selection of Lotteries to Play

Quasi Commission of 1%

Cons:

Limited Terms & Conditions

Limited Customer Service

What Will I Win

This site gets a thumb’s down. When I am going to share my personal and credit card details, I want to be clear on who I’m dealing with and what I’m going to win.

LottoShop Exposed — Is It Worth to Shop Lottery Tickets Here?

LottoShop Review

Get a load of LottoShop.com. I opened this site up to check it out and didn’t know where to start. At first glance, the biggest challenge is figuring out what to click on first. This is an online lottery provider though I’m starting to think they might offer something else. I just can’t figure out where to start. It is so noisy. All I wanted to do is find the terms and conditions to see how they operate. I just have to figure out where they might have put it. This site is so noisy – why?

Games at LottoShop.com

Ultimately, I’m here to figure out if I want to play lotteries so I started there. It looks like there are twelve different international lotteries offered at LottoShop.com ranging from the usual US and European mega jackpots through to Japan’s Jumbo Draw and some of the Aussie lotteries. There are no single ticket purchases, but most have a bonus benefit of some extra free draws included in subscriptions. There are no syndicates.

Winning at LottoShop.com

According to LottoShop.com, they don’t take any commission or fees for processing your winning and getting it to you. Any fees are built into the price you pay for your tickets. There is no information how quickly you get your winnings or how you withdraw it.

Who Can Play?

Make sure you read the small print at LottoShop.com as there are different rules and regulations on who can actually play that game. Generally across most lotteries, Pakistan seems to be no go, but Philippines, Australia, the USA and the Netherlands all show up on different games they can’t play here. There is no real info on any other restrictions.

LottoShop and What Else

Though they have a place to click for scratch and win cards, forget it – it doesn’t work. It comes up with an error. LottoShop.com also offers their games in six other languages – well sorta. Click on any of the languages available and it pops you into Google Translate. There is also link on the left hand side that will pop you into Google Translate for any language.

Terms & Conditions

There is a “how it works” but that’s it. And even that is pretty limited. Then again, there is so much noise on this site, there could be a terms and conditions buried somewhere. I thought I’d ask them but there doesn’t seem to be any way to do that.

Who is LottoShop.com?

This online lottery provider is one of the stable of Overseas Subscribers Agents (OSA) out of the Netherlands. They operate Winalot.com, EuromillionsJackpot.com, InterLotto.com, ClientAdvisoryService.com and InterLottoNews.com. OSA has a snail mail and email address, phone number and supposed 24/7 help desk. The only problem is none of it seems to work. It didn’t seem to matter what I clicked on, it all came up with error messages. Even their pop up message saying they were off line and send a message, wouldn’t work.

LottoShop.com and the Bottom Line

The simple fact that none of their online options for communicating with them actually works (that’s asking questions) was enough for me to say forget it. The other thing was the only way to play here is to play multiple games. I want an option to simply try them out before I start signing up to play longer term. Add there is no information on how to cancel. Add no idea how to tell them if I want to cancel.

Pros:

No fees or commission on winning

Most of the big mega lotteries

Cons:

No way to email them

Not 24/7 communication

When will I get my winnings.

This site gets a thumb’s down. If you can figure out where some of the more important information is available on their site, please tell me. Better if you can figure out how to communicate with them, please also tell me.

LottoYear Exposed — Read This Review Before You Click to Play

LottoYear Review

Yet another online lottery provider – LottoYear.com. There are so many of these sites popping up, I guess there is good money in running them. I love the fact that I can play lotteries internationally from anywhere. But – yes the big but – figuring out which one to choose is important. Let’s go take a deeper look at what LottoYear.com actually provides – or doesn’t.

The Games at LottoYear.com

LottoYear.com offers players four lotteries online, EuroMillions, UK Lotto, US Powerball and US Mega Millions. They say that SuperEnalotto and La Primitiva is coming soon. At least they are upfront that they are still getting this site up and running for offering access to international lotteries. There is a minimum of 4 lines to play here so don’t be looking to click on 1 line to play. Ticket lines can be your favorite numbers or quick picks. They also offer the ole multiplier (US Powerball) where applicable. There are discounts for playing multiple draws at 5% discount for three. There doesn’t appear to be any other discounts or multiple play options.

LottoYear Syndicates

Don’t look here for syndicates at this point. Then again, this is a fairly young site so maybe it’s up on their plans.

Winnings at LottoYear.com

Now that’s a good question. There is nothing on LottoYear.com’s site referencing how you get your winnings, commission or fees. There is no information.

The Tax Man

I really got a little ditz’ed re their info on taxation. LottoYear.com plays US Powerball through three states, all of which require both federal and state tax. Take New York State which means at total of 44.17% federal, state and city tax (their posted figures). Add the fact that they play EuroMillions through Spain, which means a 20% tax on anything over €2,500.

Who Can Play at LottoYear.com?

Well, it looks like all you have to be 18 years of age or older to play here. There are no disclaimers saying any specific residents can’t play. There is a spiel in their FAQ referring to “Terms of Use” but wandering around their site, it doesn’t exist.

Who Is Lotto Year?

You’d think that with offering online chat in 15 languages, LottoYear.com would be responsive – not. I had a bunch of questions for these guys (sorry gender not friendly) and no answers. They offer an “online chat” but I’m not sure when anyone is there. LottoYear.com is supposedly based in Hong Kong, but there didn’t seem to be any snail mail, telephone or email contacts. The only contact on their site was an address in the Commonwealth of Dominica.

LottoYear.com and the Bottom Line

Seriously! The simple fact of the lack of contact details is enough for me to give these guys a pass. Add to that, I don’t like sites that have such limited access to online lotteries. I get that they are new but why bother if you’re only going to offer access to four lotteries. Add to that there are no terms and conditions, and how the heck do I get my winnings. Give me a break folks.

Pros:

Simple Site

Supposedly 15 languages re Customer Service

Cons:

Only 4 Online Lotteries

Limited Customer Service

No Terms and Conditions

How and When Do I Get My Winnings

This site gets a thumb’s down. At the very least, I want to make sure I am going to get my winnings and how I’m going to get them. And why the heck would they go with states that up the ante on the taxes taken.

StbMegaMillionChoices Exposed — Save That Date for 2018 Mega Millions Choices Lottery

StbMegaMillionChoices Review

If you’re looking for an out of the box lottery game to play, 2018 Mega Millions Choices Lottery might be what you’re looking for. This game was established by St. Boniface Hospital in Manitoba, Canada. There is a really good list of prizes starting with their early bird draws through to their main prizes. The only downside is, you’ve got to be there to purchase tickets. Want to know more?

The Games

The next St B Lottery kicks off on the 8th of January 2018. Tickets are available from then through the 22nd of March 2018. Getting in early is important if you want to take advantage of the early bird draws and other benefits. The 2018 game’s prize levels aren’t posted yet, but looking at 2017, wow! The main prize was a custom home (four options to choose from) in Winnipeg or Arizona or CDN $1,100,000.

And There Is More at St B Lottery

Add to that the 50/50 plus draw though this means investing a bit more into tickets with the winner getting 50% of revenue (that’s gross) up to CDN $750,000. Big Score Plus is another side game up to a maximum of 83,000 tickets sold. This is for 25 daily draws, 8 Fridays and one big “Ultimate Draw” for a share in CDN $145,500. Add to this the daily prize option of an NHL Travel Package for two regular season game tickets including airfares, hotel and a few other things. The alternative is a vacation travel voucher from River East Travel – or cash.

And There Is More at StbMegaMillionChoices.ca

I’m still not sure where the “Dufresne Gift Card” factors in but it is yet another prize offered. That will be the interesting thing once they release the 2018 prizes as it seems this is a charity lottery with lots of surprises.

Be Aware or Be Square

Winners have 60 days from any draw dates to claim their prizes otherwise you automatically opt for the cash prize. They say they will send out a cheque by snail mail at the same time they also say all unclaimed prizes revert back to the foundation three months after notification to the winner. Oh – and you can only win one prize in each category.

Who Can Play at St B Lottery

Sorry folks – though non-residents of Manitoba can play, tickets must be purchased in person in Manitoba, Canada. There is a list of locations, plus purchasing can be done online, but you’ve got to actually be physically there.

Stop the Press

All prizes are tax free though you might have to check with your accountant if you’re a non-resident of Manitoba for local taxes. For Canadians, ticket purchases are not tax deductible even though this is for a charity.

Who Is St B Lottery?

StbMegaMillionChoices.ca is operated by the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation located in Manitoba, Canada. They have a snail mail address, email address, phone numbers and a fax number (do people still use those). Emailing them gets a quick answer.

St B Lottery’s Bottom Line

All in all, this is a lovely lottery that helps a good cause – a hospital – and provides people with a chance to win some great prizes. The only downside is the fact you have to actually be in Manitoba to buy your tickets. That is, unless you’ve got a good friend there that can do it for you. Even purchasing online, you’ve got to be there.

Pros:

Range of Great Prizes

Extra Games to Get in On

Tax Free Prizes

Cons:

Only if You are in Manitoba, Canada

60 days to Claim Your Prize

Deciding on Which Option for the Grand Prize

St B Lottery gets a thumb’s up. I really like these cause related lotteries. The prizes are usually unique and it will be interesting to see what they come out with in January 2018 for the latest list. Save that date so you can check it out.

PointsPrizes Exposed — Earn Points for Prizes and Cash

PointsPrizes Review

If you’ve got some time on your hands, PointsPrizes.com is a site where you can earn points that can be converted to prizes and cash taking surveys, polls and watching videos. They don’t take any information except your email address and are more interested in your opinion and what you look at versus who you are. The only catch is most of it is for people who reside in the United States.

What Is PointsPrizes?

PointsPrizes is a site where people can get paid for taking surveys, looking at video ads and playing free games. People collect points that can be converted to offers/prizes. There is a daily poll for 5 points. There are also coupons you can redeem for points plus referral bonus points.

Who Can Participate?

There is nowhere that actually says this is only for people in the US, they do say that their codes for prizes are mostly valid in there. If you try and claim a prize, their system will detect where you are and clarify whether you can claim it or not. If you are claiming from somewhere else internationally, prizes can be claimed through PayPal. Alternatively, they offer BitCoins.

What Are the Prizes Offered by PointsPrizes.com?

People can claim and use their points for prizes like iTunes, Amazon.com, NetFlicks and of course, cash out through PayPal, Stream or Bitcoins. There does seem to be some feedback that cash payments can take a little while. It takes 3,000 points to claim a $20 gift card or other prizes.

Who Owns Prize Points?

PrizePoints is owned by SAS POINTSPRIZES located in France. If you want to talk to them, there are a snail mail address and online form. They say they will respond within 1 business day.

What Are the Terms & Conditions?

Looking at the Terms of Use at PointsPrizes.com, it’s all pretty straight forward. The focus here is on what you can and cannot do. They don’t take any of your personal details like birth date or names. The only thing you need to log in is an email address. They will track a bunch of metadata like your IP address, device type and browser type. PointsPrizes is more interested in what you look at and what you do than who you are. Oh – and there is a way to gather 500 points redeeming coupons to jump start your account.

How to Collect a Prize?

Getting your prizes is pretty simple. Simply click on the Claim Prizes tab. The timing of getting your prizes is different for each but you can monitor when it will arrive as they give you a maximum delivery date.

PointsPrizes.com Feedback and Complaints

Well, this is a first. Looking at the comments and feedback from players, it’s all good. The only negative complaints I could find about PointsPrizes.com are that it could take 2 to 3 weeks to receive your money. Oh, and that there were some glitches regarding earning points, though it sounds like it is more the advertiser and not actually PointsPrizes.

Is PointsPrizes.com Scam or Legit?

All in all, if you’ve got the time to take surveys, polls and watch videos, you could earn some money or prizes here. There does seem to be some question on the free games and what you actually can earn. Though the games are free – right!

Bottom Line at PointsPrizes.com

Remember, this site is primarily for people in the United States. For those people who have the time to take surveys, watch video ads, look at coupons and play games, then you can earn some prizes and money.

Pros:

No Personal Details Shared

Prizes and Cash from Points

Free Games to Link Into

Cons:

Time it Takes to Complete Polls, Surveys and Watch Ads

Waiting for your Points to Add Up to Convert to Prizes/Cash

Mostly for People in the United States

This site gets a thumbs up though you aren’t going to walk away with mega millions. But, if you do have the time to participate, there are prizes and money to get.

Lottomat Exposed — It Doesn’t Get Much Simpler to Play Online Lotteries

Lottomat Review

The only thing I found interesting about Lottomat.com is the fact their site can operate in four languages – English, Russian, Polish and Spanish – and that includes the terms and conditions. This is an online lottery site that offers players seven international lotteries. There are the usual US and European mega lotteries. But there are no bonuses, referrals, discounts, subscription capacity or syndicates. It doesn’t get much more straightforward than that. But is playing at Lottomat.com that simple?

Games at Lottomat.com

Lottomat offers players online access to seven international lotteries including US Powerball & Mega Millions, EuroMillions, EuroJackpot and UK Lottery, SuperEnaLotto and Poland Lotto. The player can play one or up to 20 tickets in a “single order” (or up to a total amount of €1,000). Then it goes on about the fact a single ticket can have a maximum of 25 lines. There aren’t any discounts for an increasing number of tickets. There are no subscriptions available and no syndicates. This is a straight play lottery ticket site.

Getting Your Account

To initiate the registration process players have to provide an email account address. Lottomat.com sends an “activation link” to complete the registration process at which time you add your personal details. The next step is putting money in your account to play. There is a minimum deposit requirement of €10. Weird, Lottomat says in their FAQ there is a minimum purchase of €2 when using a credit card.

Getting Your Winnings from Lottomat

Any winnings under USD 2,500 (or the equivalent in your account currency) are deposited straight to your account. Anything over that might involve being deposited manually or you might have to get it yourself. Winnings over USD 10,000, Lottomat.com charges a 10% fee. Well, they say that this is used to cover the costs of getting your money, which is kinda a contradiction if you are getting it yourself. If you’re withdrawing your winnings through the credit card you originally used to deposit the money, be aware that you can only withdraw an equal amount to what you’ve deposited. Customer service advised that anything above this amount would have to be transferred to a bank account. There is a minimum withdrawal amount of €10.

Who Can Play?

There is absolutely nothing in Lottomat.com’s terms and conditions or FAQ that says who can or cannot play online lotteries here. The only thing they refer to in their T&C is that players have to respond to their own countries’ taxes. Players can opt to not provide any personal information – that is until they go to collect their winnings.

Miscellaneous at Lottomat

Under the terms and conditions there is a section called “Miscellaneous” where Lottomat.com says “You agree to receive information from the Company electronically or through a cellular network.” Now I wonder what that means. Guess I am going to find out if this means I’m going to start receiving spam and other advertising.

Lottomat.com’s Customer Service

Lottomat is operated by Seymour Marketing Limited (a UK registered company) but is owned by Seymour B.V (Curaçao registered company). Both have snail mail addresses. The customer service is open Monday to Friday GMT business hours and can be reached by telephone, email and an online form. They seem to respond within 24 hours, which is great.

The Bottom Line at Lottomat

This online lottery site is pretty straightforward, though that does get me wondering if it’s a site to gather email addresses for marketing purposes. The fact that I can register by simply putting in an email address got me wondering.

Pros:

Straightforward Lottery Site

Information Available in Multiple Languages

Good Threshold on Direct Winnings to your Account

Cons:

Only Seven International Lotteries to Play

No Subscriptions or Syndicates

Getting Your Winnings from Your Account

Lottomat.com gets a reserved thumb’s up for its simplicity, then again, it will be interesting to see if my email inbox starts to fill up!

Freebies Exposed — Check Your Location Before You Play

$

Freebies Review

If you’ve got some time on your hands and live in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, United Kingdom or USA, Freebies is a site to earn points and prizes. The location is important as many of the prize opportunities are limited to specific countries. Points are traded in for gift cards or payouts through PayPal. Each prize opportunity has its own timing and size of the prize.

What Is Freebies?

Freebies.com offers coupons, free prize draws, free samples and giveaways by having you look or experience an advertisement, video or article on a subject. They also use daily inspiration messages, daily memes, #shareables and riddles. Trivia questions and polls take time, but also put you in the position to win prizes or earn points. Many of the riddles, trivia and recipes all want you to share these on Facebook – which does link into your personal account. Some of these are published directly by Freebies and some are from external sponsors/advertisers. The members’ only draws are for gift cards or cash.

Who Can Participate?

The rules on who can be a member are limited to residents of Australia, Canada (excluding Quebec), New Zealand, United States or United Kingdom. Players also have to be 18 years or older or “reached age of majority as of June 23, 2014” – whichever is more. Okay, that’s weird. For the external prizes (non-direct Freebies.com), there are different rules and regulations depending on the sponsor/advertiser. In some cases, people from other countries can play.

What Are the Prizes Offered by Freebies?

Players can get things from iPhones through to Lululemon yoga mat to electrical kettles and inflatable lounge chairs. Points collected can be used to purchase things in Freebies’ Point Store. Polls and surveys generally also collect points. Coupons can be collected for discounts on purchasing items. Then there are the members’ prizes. What is weird is, at one point of their site Freebies talks about monthly prizes and then in their terms and conditions they go on about a $500 gift card draw that takes place twice a year.

Who Owns Freebies?

Freebies is “sponsored” by Bricormedia Inc., a company out of Ontario, Canada. There are email and snail mail addresses (post office box) plus online form. Bricormedia has offices in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK and US. This is a company with a tag line “get your consumers to your website to sell products, engage in services, interact, complete a questionnaire, register for your newsletter and more”.

What Are the Terms & Conditions?

Freebies.com’s terms and conditions are only for members’ only. The actual points accumulated go towards a monthly prize tier. The top 10 members win a $25 gift card and 11th to 50th win a $5 card. Members from 1 to 400 top points go into a draw for 1/$100 gift card, 2/$50 and 1/$25. For other prize links and sponsors, the terms and conditions are specific to their site.

How to Collect a Prize?

Spend your points in Freebies’ Point Store and your purchase is a click away. Keep in mind, you will have to pay for the shipping and handling. Delivery depends on where it is coming from and who the supplier is. For members’ prizes, there is no timeline on how quickly you get your gift cards.

Freebies Feedback and Complaints

That is one of the things to watch for at Freebies.com. The only complain found referred to an external supplier who didn’t deliver and wouldn’t return the shipping and handling costs. Other than that, it looks like this is a fun site with some interesting things to do and a chance to earn points, win prizes or buy things.

Is Freebies.com Scam or Legit?

If you have the time to sit online answering stuff and don’t mind a lot of advertising, this looks like a fun site to surf around on. Oh, and if you’re a resident in the correct country to actually earn points. There are a few weird things in their terms and conditions on members’ draws.

Bottom Line at Freebies.com

This site does have a lot of interesting options on how to gain points and prizes. I particularly like the trivia questions and though I chose not to share that strawberry shortcake recipe on Facebook to all my friends, I did save it.

Pros:

Fun Ways to Earn Points

Points for Prizes and Purchasing

Interesting Advertising

Cons:

How Much Time Do I Have to Play Here?

Do I Want to Share on Facebook?

How Much Advertising Am I Going to Receive?

This site is upfront in that it’s a marketing and advertising site that shares information and gathers people contacts. At the same time, there is a heap of things to earn and win.

BitPlay Exposed — Is It Really Fair Bitcoin Lottery?

$

BitPlay Review

With a tag line of “Provably fair Bitcoin lottery based on blockchain!” I was curious on how BitPlay.club’s game worked. This is a proprietary lottery game where players pick 6 numbers from 1 to 45 for each ticket line. The game is for bitcoins (BTC) which has a fluctuating exchange rate to other currencies. That all seems very straightforward right. Let’s go see.

The Game at BitPlay.club

BitPlay Club offers a proprietary lottery game. Players can use their favorite six numbers between 1 and 45 or can use one of the systems to select ticket lines. The system options are pick numbers randomly, or you can choose frequent or rare numbers. One ticket line costs 0.0001 BTC (about US $1.58 at today’s exchange rate). Subscriptions are available up to 6 draws and you can play as many ticket lines as you want. The game is played at 08:00 UTC (that’s Universal Time otherwise known as GMT) with the results posted within two hours. Drawing winning numbers use a blockchain format. There is a referral program to encourage more players.

BitPlay Club’s System Game

There is also a “System Game” which generates “every possible combination of the chosen numbers”. Players choose between 6 to 12 numbers. BitPlay.club uses the example of 7 tickets of 6 numbers which costs the price of 7 tickets. Play 12 numbers and you’re looking at 0.0924 BTC (or US $ 1449.68). Some people believe this type of system increases the probability of winning something.

What Do You Win?

Ticket sales are split 60% towards prizes and 40% to management (service charges, referral awards, marketing & promotion). Okay, then 30% of the 60% prize money goes towards increasing the jackpot. Matching 2 numbers gets 0.0001 BTC which means you get your money back. 3 numbers gets you 25% of the 30% of ticket sales, 4 numbers gets 33%, 5 gets 42% and 6 gets the jackpot (remember the 30% that came off the prize money at the start. When a jackpot isn’t won, it rolls over. BitPlay Club can take part of the not won jackpot as commission to have “reserve funds” up to 50%.

Getting your Winnings at BitPlay.club

Winnings are deposited directly to your account. Oh ya – and of course you’ve got to deposit into your account to play. There is no information on how you withdraw your bitcoins.

Who Can Play?

On the fact of BitPlay.club’s website it is clear that US and Canadian residents can’t play here. There doesn’t appear to be any other restrictions.

Talking to BitPlay Club

There is no information who BitPlay.club is, where they are located (no snail mail address) or telephone numbers. Digging into their service agreement, there is an email address, plus on Facebook there is another one.

One More Thing

Looking at BitPlay Club’s web page, I got to wondering about the exchange rate they have posted for BTC to USD. The latest jackpot is shown at $58,195 to the BTC jackpot. I did the exchange on a currency site and got about US $5,000 more. Then again, that is one of the challenges relating to bitcoins. Over the last two months it has bounced from 1 BTC equal to US $7,000, up to just over US $20,000 and then back down to around $15,000.

The Bottom Line at BitPlay.club

If you’re into playing games with bitcoins, then this could be a good site. It is early days for the jackpot (only on their 22nd game) so it could grow depending on the amount of people who play. The referral program might help this.

Pros:

Good Odds on a 1 to 45 Number Game

Good Prize Tier

Anonymous Winning

Cons:

Not for Canadians or Americans

Limited Contact Details

Low Jackpot – For Now

Right now BitPlay Club doesn’t get a thumb’s up or thumb’s down. It’s too new. It will be interesting to see how quickly the jackpot grows which is dependent on how many people are playing. Well, that and the actual value of bitcoins.

FireLotto Exposed — Invest in Cryptocurrency and Play Lotteries or NOT

FireLotto Review

My head is spinning with all the different cryptocurrencies popping up. FireLotto.io is yet another Initial Coin Offering (ICO) that is linked into their three lottery games. Getting into the game means purchasing their FLOT – FireLotto Tokens. Besides the three lottery games currently offered, it does mean as an investor, you get a percentage of each ticket sold. But what are you going to do with your FLOT?

Games at FireLotto.io

FireLotto currently has three games. 4/20 Lottery has a current jackpot of 3 ETH or an estimated value of US $2,109 and is a pick 4 numbers out of 20. It’s 5/36 Lottery has a jackpot of 83 ETH or US$58,190 and yes, is a pick 5 numbers out of 36. The 6/45 Lottery jackpot is 183 ETH or US$ 129,864 and players pick 6 numbers out of 45 for each ticket line. The actual winning jackpot will fluctuate depending on how many people have bought tickets. 70% of FLOT used to buy tickets goes to the jackpot. There is no limit to how many tickets you purchase. The cost for each ticket line for all advertised lotteries is .003 ETH or US$2.00 to buy a lottery ticket. There is an additional game called Roger’s Wheel which is an instant win lottery that ‘will be coming soon’.

How to Play?

Step one in getting into these lottery games is buying FLOTs – tokens for your Etherwallet. That makes you an investor. Currently 16,051,524 out of 77,000,000 FLOT has been sold. Once you have FLOT in your account, you can play lotteries or simply sit back and collect your percentage on each ticket sold. More on that shortly.

How Fire Lotto Lotteries Work

Now how the lottery side of FireLotto works could be the million dollar question. The only information on when the draws take place is the clock running down. Each lottery closes one hour before it takes place with the draw using a Random Number Generator to select the winning ticket numbers. It looks like there is only a jackpot and no other tiers of prizes. There is no information on winners though FireLotto says in their FAQ when the timer runs down, click on that lottery and then the “Draw Archive” and it will show the results.

Investors Profits

This is an ICO (Initial Coin Offering versus an Initial Public Offering or IPO) for a blockchain currency called Fire Lotto Tokens (FLOT). People buy FLOTs with real currency. This is crowdfunding with the idea being the more FLOT that is sold, the value of the FLOT increases. Investors also get a percentage of each ticket sold playing their lotteries so your ownership in FLOT should grow.

Who Is FireLotto.io?

This new currency and lotteries are operated by Tavaron Media Group out of Cyprus. It has a snail mail address, a couple of email addresses and click on “contact us” and an email menu opens up. There is also a huge list of the people who are involved in the operations of FireLotto. Actually the list takes up half of their home page. There is also a list of different publications. Click on any of the icons and you open a press release providing more details on FireLotto and their ICO. There are no phone numbers.

FireLotto and their Bottom Line

It’s amazing all the different cryptocurrencies that are popping up all over the place. Theoretically, they aren’t worth anything until you can translate the currency back into cash at the same time there are more and more outlets that take cryptocurrencies. It just means picking one that is actually recognized. But I wonder in playing lotteries here, how much of my investment would go out the window in tickets.

Pros:

Growing Jackpots

Percentage of Tickets Credited to Your Wallet

Investing & Playing

Cons:

Where Can I Use My FLOT?

Only Prize the Jackpot

Playing Away My FLOT Investment on Lottery Tickets

This site gets neither a thumb’s up or down. It’s early days for their lottery side with a fairly limited jackpot at this point. Plus, the only thing I could do with my FLOT is continue to play more lottery games.

PlanetLotto Review

I was looking around at some different, new lottery sites to see if anyone is offering anything new and different. PlanetLotto.com.au is simply another online lottery provider that offers lottery tickets and group play. They try to link it into some sort of charity program, but there is not enough information for this to be credible. It made me look deeper to see what else they do offer. I’m not very impressed.

The Games at PlanetLotto

This online lottery provider offers eleven international lotteries including the usual mega lotteries plus Canada’s 649, New York Lotto, La Primitiva, SuperEnalotto, BonoLoto and UK Lotto. There are no Australian lotteries. Players any amount of tickets including only one. Subscriptions are available for 2, 4, 8, 26 and 52 draws. Keep in mind, some of these lotteries are available twice a week for 52 draws is actually six months. Getting out of a subscription requires notification a minimum of five business days before the “next monthly cycle” ordered otherwise it is automatically renewed. I’m not sure how it works for a subscription of 2 draws which say for Canada’s 649 would be one week.

Syndicates or Group Play

PlanetLotto.com.au has “Group Play” available for each of the eleven lotteries. Each group has 50 lines that are randomly picked. But – yes the but – there is no information on how many shares are available for each group. I asked the question to PlanetLotto and still haven’t received an answer. One of the key aspects of playing in a syndicate is how many people you’re going to have to share your winnings. There are discounts for multiple play and it appears for each multiple play, players get a free Mega Millions ticket.

Winning at PlanetLotto.com.au

PlanetLotto says that in playing here you give the company an irrevocable power of attorney to get your winnings for you. Then they say that you might have to go get it yourself and pay all costs related. Where winning is available as an annuity or lump sum, all jackpots will be taken as a lump sum. Any payment is through the same method you put the money into your account to play. There is a minimum withdrawal of €5. Payments are usually made three business days after your request. Payments are made in either Euro or US Dollars and any conversion is by the rates published by the Royal Bank of Scotland. Okay, that is weird as the company is registered and operating in Australia and to play all lotteries is in Australian dollars. PlanetLotto.com.au says there is no commission and fees on getting your winnings though there could be third party costs.

Who Can Play?

PlanetLotto.com.au says anyone can play here as long as you are 18 years or older unless a different age is required by where you live. There are no other restrictions.

Planet Lotto Bonuses

New players get a “Welcome Bonus” of a free participation in a group play of “an International Lottery draw. Same goes for the “Tell a Friend Bonus”.

PlanetLotto’s Charity Side

PlanetLotto “aims” to give “up to” 50% of all tickets sold to Australian community fundraising groups. Click on the “Charity Lotteries” from any of the lotteries offered and the system defaults to Mega Millions. Not sure what that is all about and there is no information on their site why there is this link.

Talking to PlanetLotto.com.au

If you’re in Aussie, then there is a toll free number to talk to Planet Lotto. Otherwise, there is an email address and online form. The customer service is open 9:00 am to 5:00 Australian Western Standard Time Monday to Friday. There is no information on their response time. Planet Lotto is registered to Cardinal House Group Pty. Ltd. with a snail mail address in West Australia. Ah, but looking further, it is actually owned by Safe Global Payments Limited registered in Malta. These folks have at least one other site I am aware of.

PlanetLotto & the Bottom Line

This looks like a fairly straightforward lottery at the same time, the lack of response to my questions bugs me. Plus, what is with the charity aspect. Okay on top of that – why is a company in Australia using the Bank of Scotland for their official currency exchange rates. Everything is posted as purchased in Australian dollars, but the only way you get your money is through US or Euros.

Pros:

Eleven International Lotteries

Subscriptions Available

Syndicates Available

Cons:

Pay in Aussie Dollars but Winnings in Euro or US

Opting Out of Subscriptions

No International on Group Play Shares

I’m not going to give this site a thumb’s up or thumb’s down. There is no indication that it isn’t legit at the same time there are enough questions that I’m going to stick to my familiar sites. I don’t see any reason to jump on board here.

PrizePlay Exposed — Play That Scatchie to Win What?

PrizePlay Review

I think the most creative part of the games at PrizePlay.com is the names. This site offers scatchies and games to win money and coins. Coins can be used to play more. Any play here is directly linked to your Facebook or email account. That’s the main way to register yourself. There is the option to set up an account and if you’re going to be cashing out, you need one.

What Is PrizePlay?

PrizePlay.come offers online scratchies and games, both to play officially and use their demo. I did have some fun with the demos. Players have 5 chances to see what they would have won. The games have creative names like Santa’s Wild Helpers, Greedy Servants and Zombie Slot Mania. My personal favorite is Exploding Pirates. Scratchies include cards like Punch Up and Life’s a Beach. There is also a second chance area to play more.

Who Can Participate?

Anyone can log in here with their Facebook, Google or email account and play. Supposedly, you must be 18 years or older, though it seems that if you’re 13 to 17 years of age, you can play with permission from your parents or guardian.

What Are the Prizes Offered by PrizePlay?

Players are playing for cash here, though some of the scratchies have tickets to be won. I couldn’t find anywhere, where it says what they can be used for. Prizes vary for each scratchie, but generally earn between US $1 up to US $500. There are some cash giveaways for $100, $150 and $500 at different times, but this is when reading the small print is important. These games are limited to people who are “legal residents” of of Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, and Wisconsin. Players must use one of their points collected in their PrizePlay account for each entry. Okay, weird – in PrizePlay’s small print, they say “slot games do not offer real money gambling or an opportunity to win real money or prizes” but then refers to actual opportunities to win real money prizes.

Who Owns PrizePlay?

PrizePlay is owned by Lottery Rewards, Inc. (LR) with a snail mail address in New York State. There are no other contact details. Click on Customer Support and it automatically opens a menu for you to choose Outlook, Yahoo and Gmail to send an email though you can choose an alternative program. Then PrizePlay says they are a “certified StartUp NY company” that helps new business a chance to operate tax-free for 10 years, but businesses have to be on or near college or university campuses in NY State.

What Are the Terms & Conditions?

The terms and conditions at PrizePlay seem to focus on how to set up your account and/or the guidelines on their access to your social media account. Remember, you’re going to use Facebook, Google or your email account to register here. Other than that, there really aren’t any specific rules and regulations that apply.

How to Collect a Prize?

Players accumulate money in their account. Once the account has US $10 or more, you can request to be paid out. They will send you a check.

PrizePlay Feedback and Complaints

Interesting in bouncing around the web, Scam Advisor says that PrizePlay.com is actually owned by Amazon.com Inc. Other comments include this site is safe. I couldn’t find any complaints though I’m not sure if that simply means there aren’t that many people playing here.

Is PrizePlay.com Scam or Legit?

It’s hard to say whether this site is a scam or legit though I was put off by the questions on whether I am actually going to get anything. Add to that the lack of contact details.

Bottom Line at PrizePlay.com

Given that even the prizes are pretty small compared to some of the other prize sites out there, I’m going to give PrizePlay a miss.

Pros:

Anyone Can Play

Simply Scatchie & Games

Second Chance to Win

Cons:

Limited Prizes

Not sure You Will Receive Your Winnings

Limited Contact Details

Yup – this site gets a thumb’s down. Just too limited in prizes and games though I do still say I like that Exploding Pirates.

RSL Art Union Review

The clock is ticking on getting in on the RSL Art Union Lottery. This is one of those delightful raffles that gives you a chance to win some amazing prizes. It was set up to help veterans in Australia. Players get a chance to win apartments, apartment complexes and gold bullion. There are a bunch of draws each year and get in on the VIP club and you can make sure you don’t miss one draw. The clock is ticking though if you want to get into the VIP stuff.

The Game at RSLArtUnion.com.au

Want to win not one, not two, but three apartments in Australia plus AUD 2,000 to take that flight to get your prize? RSL Art Union’s 1st prize includes that plus enough additional money to pay your taxes for the first year. There is also a 2nd prize of gold to the tune of $10,000 and 3rd prize of $5,000. Tickets start at $5 though bundling is available with 8/$30, 13/$50 and 19/$75. Several draws occur each year with the close of the next on the 10th of March. Okay the odds are not that great compared to some of the other lotteries/raffles sold internationally to support charities. In RSLArtUnion.com.au’s latest raffles, there are 2,340,000 tickets available.

VIP Club Members

Get into the draw by the 23rd of February and you’re in for an AUD 500 Red Balloon Voucher, automatic entry in all art union draws. Get into the VIP Club any time and you have the chance to win two $10,000 gold bullion bonus draws. Getting into the VIP Club is simple. Simply register and agree that they can direct debit you for each draw as they become available.

And there’s More – RSL Art Union’s Golden Treasure Draw

Ever thought about owning an entire apartment complex? Once a year, RSL Art Union has its biggest giveaway. 1st prize is an apartment building with an estimate value over AUD 4 million. You can live in it, rent out the other apartments for the income or sell it tax free for Australians. People who reside in other countries might have to pay tax there.

Who Can Play at RSLArtUnion.com.au

This raffle is open to anyone living anywhere. Part of the jackpot prize includes AUD 2,000 to get there to claim it. Of course, you are responsible for any visas needed, plus you might have to pay tax on your prize where you are from. For Aussies, this raffle is tax free.

Why Do They Do It?

RSLArtUnion.com.au was set up to help current and ex-military people and their families for advocacy and welfare services, financial support, rehabilitation services and crisis accommodation.

Customer Service at RSL Art Union

If you have any questions about this raffle, office hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 7:00 pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time) and Saturday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. There is a snail mail address, phone numbers for Aussie, New Zealand and International and an online form. They answer questions on a timely basis by email.

The Bottom Line at RSLArtUnion.com.au

The concept of helping a good cause and potentially getting to win property in Australia is nice. Okay, I’d settle for the 2nd prize of the gold bullion, but the only way I’m going to get a chance to win is to play. The VIP Club means you don’t have to check on when the next draw is and are automatically entered.

Pros:

Tax Free in Aussie

Unique Prizes

Lots of Draws/Raffles to Get Into

Helping Veterans in Aussie

Cons:

Not Great Odds

Limited Tier Levels

This lottery gets a thumb’s up though it would be nice if the amount of raffle tickets for each draw was more limited. Then again, ultimately this is to help veterans.

EndeavorLotteries Exposed — Winning and Helping the Disabled

EndeavorLotteries Review

Whoops, missed that one. Two of the main Endeavour Lotteries have already closed for this year, though their Star Supporters game is still open. This is a lottery cum raffle site that offers prizes in houses, life style winnings and cars. It was set up to support the Endeavour Foundation who does a bunch of stuff to assist disabled people. The prizes are great though I missed out for this year on their two big ones. Their Star Supporters game is ongoing throughout the year.

Games at EndeavorLotteries.com.au

Ever thought of owning a 2018 Jaguar F-Type Coupe? One of the choices in the 1st prize at Endeavour’s Ultimate Lifestyle Lottery was that plus a 2018 Jaguar F-Pace plus gold bullion. EndeavorLotteries.com.au has three different lotteries/raffles to play. The Endeavor Lottery runs from early December through to mid-February. Their Ultimate Lifestyle Lottery runs from mid-December through the end of January. The Star Supporters game is ongoing through the year. The important thing is to get in early so you can have a chance at their early bird games.

The Endeavor Lottery

The current game (#412) finished the 31st of January but I’m assured it will run again later this year. This is one to put on your calendar so you’re looking at purchasing tickets in November. Tickets range from $10/1, $20/2, $30/4, $50/10, $50/14 and $100 for 30 with a total tickets sold from 450,000 of single purchases up to 575,000 for bundled tickets. First prize includes a home in Queensland (Australia) loaded with design options, media room and gold bullion to cover rates, water, travel, accommodation and legal costs. The early bird draw is worth AUD 5,000 which they will transfer to your account.

Ultimate Lifestyle Lottery

In Endeavour’s No. 819 gave winners a choice between two high end Jaguar cars plus gold bullion, a Ranger Rover and Lotus Trooper Caravan plus gold bullion, or straight $500,000 worth of gold bullion. Sorry folks, though this draw hasn’t taken place, it’s sold out. Ticket prices are $10/1, $20/2, $30/4, $50/10, $60/14 and $100/30 with total tickets sold limited to 270,000. Put this one on your calendar for March. They run several lotteries each year.

Endeavour’s Star Supporters Lottery

The Star Supporters Lottery is open all year round. Players join a membership to purchase tickets at 1/$10, 4/$20, 10/$50, 14/$60, 30/$100, 60/$200 a month. Prizes include seven home lotteries, five $500,00 Ultimate Lifestyle Lotteries, seven early bird cash draws plus four luxury car draws and one $10,000 cash Christmas draw. There doesn’t seem to be a schedule of dates for these though the latest winner is posted on their website.

Who Can Play at Endeavour Lotteries

All lottery tickets at EndeavorLotteries.com.au are open to anyone from anywhere, as long as you are 18 years or older and don’t work for the foundation. The only caveat, if you win and are a foreigner is you are responsible for gaining any necessary permission for getting to Aussie to get your prize and/or agree to accept an alternative prize if you can’t.

Who Is EndeavorLotteries.com.au?

Their three lotteries/raffles are operated by Endeavour Foundation. It was set up to support people with disabilities and has been around since 1951. Customer support is open Monday to Saturday roughly business hours. There is a snail mail and email address. There are also toll free telephone numbers for Australia and New Zealand plus an international phone number. Oh, and an online form.

The Bottom Line at EndeavourLotteries

These raffles offer a lovely chance to do some good at the same time have a chance at winning some great luxury prizes. It could have a few more tiers of prizes, but then again, the odds on winning on each of their draws beats a lot of lotteries. Plus, the proceeds go to a good cause.

Pros:

Great Prizes

Good Odds

Anyone Can Play

Cons:

Limited Tier Prize

Choosing Your Prize in Ultimate Lifestyle

Waiting for December to Play

EndeavourLotteries gets a thumb’s up and I’ve definitely put these in my calendar for later this year. I’m not sure if they’ll go for the Jaguar for the next lottery, but I can already see myself sitting in one.
